Biography of Johannes Nix

Johannes Nix was a Hessian soldier serving with the British Army in the Revolutionary War who stayed in North America after the conflict ended. Here is the abstract of his records:
Hesse-Hanau; Aufenau; Grenadier; Freikorps, Co. 6; HETRINA Vol. VI; Deserted in July 1782 and settled on a land grant in Halifax County, Nova Scotia; Later emigrated to the United States.
