Biography of James Nix
James Nix (SC) appears on the loyalist muster rolls as a member of
Captain Christian House's Company, Colonel John Fisher's Regiment,
of Orangeburgh Militia out of Charleston, South Carolina. He held the
rank of private, serving first 352 days from 5 Jul 1781 until 21 Jun 1782,
and serving a second enlistment of 6 months from 1 Jun 1783 until 1 Dec 1783.
