Nix, Charles- private May 8, 1862 . Wounded at Missionary Ridge, Tenn. November 25, 1863 . Sent to hospital, permanently disabled in 1863 . Sent home on wounded furlough January 1864 . Never able to return. (Born in Cherokee County, Ga. May 23, 1834.)
