Biography of Jiles Luther Nix

I have never found a record where he was listed as Jiles, His only name has been Luther Nix, but there seems no doubt that this is the son of John Henry and Eunice Adaline Inmon, the grandson of Tyre Nix and Lettice (Letty) Holden, and the great grandson of Jennings Nix and Lucinda (Letty) Alexander. His date of birth on the card is the same as other records and he did live in Hoppers Community of Walnut Grove, Etowah County, Alabama. He married Minnie Rainey and they had five daughters and three sons. In the 1930 census, Luther and Minnie and their family are living in the Hoppers community of Etowah County. He is buried at Mortons Chapel Cemetery, but I am not sure where Minnie is buried.

The registration card list his physical features : Height - Medium, Build - Slender, Eyes - Blue, and Hair - Light.
